Tulelake Farm Advisor New Employee

Hello! My name is Myra Chavoya-Perez and am the new Cooperative Extension Coordinator at Intermountain Research and Extension Center – Tulelake.

I am currently a student at Oregon Tech pursuing a co-terminal bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in environmental and water resource engineering. Being raised in Tulelake, I was always surrounded by agriculture in many ways. I have been drawn to agriculture, and curious as to how our weather affects land and production and the research done within our basin.
