Test trees on your land or public spaces! Help scientists monitor disease spread and track newer dangerous strains. Register to learn how to sample California Bay Laurel and Tanoak leaves for testing at UC Berkeley. All materials provided FREE of charge.

Hear blitz results from Dr. Matteo Garbelotto (UC Berkeley Forest Pathology & Mycology Lab) and get your questions answered! Links to blitz results & maps and information are on the SOD Blitz project site: www.sodblitz.org. Events were held as follows:
1) A regional in-person meeting 6-8pm on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the UCCE Sonoma office in Santa Rosa, 33 Aviation Blvd #109, Santa Rosa, CA 95403
- This meeting was more comprehensive and discuss treatment options. Snacks provided.
2) A statewide virtual meeting 6-7:30pm on Friday, November 17, 2023. Watch the recorded presentation here.
- This meeting focused on blitz results.
These events were hosted by UCCE Sonoma and the UC Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County Sudden Oak Death Specialists. Thanks to the USDA Forest Service for program funding.
There was also an in-person event at Woodside Town Hall 6pm on Monday, November 13 not sponsored by UCCE Sonoma.
