The ANR Nutrition Policy Institute holds a contract with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to serve as an Evaluation Unit for the Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention (NEOP) Branch of CDPH, specifically focusing on evaluation of CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL.). The proposed position is needed to provide project and policy leadershipsupport for the direction of the entire NPI NEOP Evaluation Unit.

The Policy/Program Analyst will design, collect data for, analyze findings from, report on, and disseminate findings of policy/program analytical studies that include research and evaluation for improving the effectiveness of, or changing policies, systems or programmatic efforts in NPI's focus areas. Leads and manages policy and program planning, development and interpretation, monitoring or analysis of relevant information. Provides consultative services to a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external at varying levels.
