Under the general supervision of the Center Director and direction of the Business Officer, provide support services for the Intermountain Research and Extension Center and the Tulelake Farm Advisor. Responsibilities include business support functions related to financial processing, procurement, labor and payroll tracking, travel and entertainment arrangements, travel expense reconciliations, general correspondence, data entry, assistance with computer and networking systems, the Research Advisory Committee process and special projects. Office coordination will encompass greeting visitors, answering phones, managing websites, maintaining databases, budget and account record keeping, and organizing publications. The incumbent will also support research and field activities including collecting, organizing and entering research data, assisting with grant and research report writing, and helping staff with field and lab research activities.
This position will end on 6/30/2018. Extension beyond this date is contingent on securing new grant funds.
