TTD Project Upates
March 2013 Update
The TTD project took a field trip on February 23 to Redwood Shores to see Tragon Corporation, a sensory evaluation and marketing research business that tests consumer products for large corporations. We met up with over 50 UC Davis students and got to meet one of the founders, Dr. Herbert Stone.
We also just finished doing maple syrup (Grade A vs. Grade B) and whipped cream (National Brand vs. Sonoma County Brand) taste tests (with almost 100 responses per product pair) at the 4H Foundation Breakfast and at the CCC meeting.
At the next CCC meeting, on April 2, members will be presenting results from the most recent taste tests and the earlier apple juice study. The next meeting for TTD is March 27 at 7:00 pm at the Bleibaum House, 1600 Riebli Road, Santa Rosa, where we will be preparing the presentations of results. New members are welcome.
