4-H Mentoring Program
The 4-H Youth Futures: College Within Reach National Mentoring Program is a comprehensive, 12-month partnership in exploring the process of a successful college or career preparation experience.
This unique program focuses on building relationships and strengthening college and workforce preparedness for military-connected youth between the ages of 12-17. Middle School and High School students are matched with individual mentors who guide the exploration of a myriad of college preparation and readiness activities. Additionally, students will learn valuable ways of developing or strengthening relationships and support networks to enhance future decision making.
Our sites for 2020-2021 are Elsie Allen High School, Cook Middle School, and The North Bay Met Academy.
Teens and Adults can participate as mentors in this program.
